From the Desk of CEO Yoshinori Ono #51: Happy New Year!

Happy New Year, everyone! Akemashite omedeto!!
Here's to another year of Fate/Grand Order with Lasengle!

So, what did you think of the Fate/Grand Order Part 2 finale we launched at the end of last year?

After 10 years of FGO's journey, it marked a major milestone. Our entire development and operations team gave it everything they had, right down to the wire, to give you Masters the strongest experience we could deliver.

The time from announcing the Part 2 finale date at FGO Fes. in early August to hitting December 20th feels like only an instant. It just flew by.

Even before the FGO Fes. announcement, several other initiatives had already been rolled out as part of the FGO Project in  2025.

The "OVER THE SAME SKY" campaign had us imagining what it would look like if Servants visited famous spots across all of Japan's 47 prefectures. It was the first time we'd done something like this since the 5th anniversary's "under the same sky," and it was great connecting with Masters all across Japan.

We also put on the "Fate/Grand Order Servant Art Chronicle - Final Ascension Exhibition -" in Tokyo during July and August, then brought it to Osaka in October and November.

Displaying over 500 pieces of final ascension art, costume designs and more using special printing was pretty ambitious. But standing there, I couldn't help thinking about how many amazing creators we've collaborated with to build FGO over the years.

Then December rolled around.

We lit up the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building in Shinjuku, Tokyo, with projection mapping and ran displays at Shinjuku Station. The display in the station's East-West Passageway left me speechless. Even though I'd been part of making it happen, I just stood there taking it in.

Watching that footage with Masters who'd come out to see it, I felt this wave of gratitude. And I found myself naturally looking back on all the time we've poured into developing and operating this game.

When you keep a live service game going this long, these milestone moments hit differently. There's gratitude for all you players and Masters, sure, but also this real sense of satisfaction and accomplishment on the dev and ops side. It's not quite the same feeling you get with games that aren't live service.

...This is getting a bit sentimental for a New Year's message!

But we're not done yet. Lasengle is staying committed to giving our all to Fate/Grand Order.

To all you Masters, thank you for sticking with us. And here's to another amazing year!
