Hot! Hotter! Hottest!
It's BBQ season and time for Lasengle's second Summer Grill Festival.
We invited Lasengle employees and their families to a BBQ spot in the city, and around 300 people joined us grilling up a storm!
Like last year, we had some organized entertainment for the little ones to give mom and dad and chance to kick back, relax and enjoy.
More than half of our team at Lasengle opt for our remote Home Style working option. This means that we're usually communicating through video calls, and there's less chance for face-to-face interactions.
Events like this give us all a chance to meet in person, and get to know our colleagues and family. I believe it's something that helps build a more creative working environment and I plan to make it a regular thing.
In other news, we've already kicked off the recruitment process for new grads - that's right, I'm talking about 2026 grads. So if you're a student and you've felt a connection with us, maybe by reading my blog or one of our other articles, then why not register for one of our recruitment events? Would love to see you there.
We've also got a couple of new projects in the works, and are looking for experienced mid-career professionals to join our team. We can't reveal the specifics just yet, but if you like our company culture and think this is the right environment for you, get in touch.
For a peek into what's happening at Lasengle, check out our presentation at CEDEC2024, Japan's largest conference for game developers. The conference is a hybrid event from August 21st to August 23, 2024. Our engineers will be there talking about graphics development case studies for game development and cloud migration of build pipelines, so if you're interested in game creation at Lasengle, be sure to check it out.
Speaking of events, last month I headed to Anime Expo in Los Angeles.
Keeping in line with previous years, Fate/Grand Order hosted a booth and a panel session, providing a great chance to engage with North American Masters.
This year, we also hosted a stage to attract new members to the Lasengle team who can support the global expansion of existing and new projects and titles.
We're also recruiting in Japan for these roles, so, if you're interested or want to put your international business experience to use at Lasengle, why not hop aboard our ship? Our crew is waiting to welcome you on board!
Summer is bringing loads of events for Fate/Grand Order, both in-game and in real life.
The entire Lasengle crew is working hard to make sure all Masters have a blast!
Until next time!
